Celebrations of life and the hardships we must all endure…
The grand comings and goings of life… the miracle of birth. A new soul to welcome and rejoice with the new parents.
In a powerful scene in the landmark miniseries Roots, Kunta Kinte, a slave, holds his new born daughter up to the sky, and says, “Behold, the only thing greater than yourself.”
None of us take parenting lightly. The fact that the Universe gave us a child to raise is an incredible blessing as well as incredible responsibility. I know that we as parents well teach our child to be a benefit to the community we are apart of and love our child with all our heart and soul. May we all be good and caring teachers to the children around us.
Everyone must sooner or later pass over the rainbow and leave this physical realm. We celebrate a life lived well and comfort the one’s here as they mourn their loss.
Touched so many hearts
In so many different ways.
You gave so much, and asked only for our love in return.
There is a vast emptiness, as if a part of us is missing,
But we’re sure with the passing of time
You will show us all how to be whole again.
We know you are safe, and nothing shall harm you.
Remember, although we’re apart,
We will always be together.
My eyes wash away my sorrow with each tear I give.

Just this side of heaven is a place called The Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to The Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. A Celebrations of Life
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. their bright eyes are intent; their eager body quivers. Suddenly they begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying him faster and faster.
That special someone has been spotted, and when they finally meet, they cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon the face; those hands again caress the beloved head, and we look once more into the trusting eyes of our pet, so long gone from our lives but never absent from our heart.
Then they both cross the Rainbow Bridge… together.
