Nuptial Rites

Love is a beautiful path along a rough road that we walk bare footed with the person we choose to live with in our lives. Choose the one you feel is the best to carry along that path… Love is simplest and the hardest thing you will ever do!

Nuptial Rites
Your Wedding Officiant, John Rakestraw
Marriage, the nuptial rites of passage from being single to a joined couple, has been celebrated through many forms of feasts and festivals. We even perform the wedding rituals in these modern times: a procession that conveys the loving couple to the marriage celebration; an exchange of gifts; a purification of the wedding couple, a wedding feast, a preparation of the wedding chamber and bed; and the private nocturnal act of love.

Love is a small word with deep meanings and longings. A marriage is built over a lifetime. I rejoice in being apart of the beginning of a life long love story.

The highest form of love… is unconditional love. It stays in your heart and soul when all other types of love has fallen aside, and cares when there is no apparent reason to care. This love comes from our souls and from a higher power then we.

People make friends with others according to the kind of car they drive or what kind of clothes they wear, or their status in society. The unconditional love of our souls goes past the surface, enabling us to look deep into our soulmate’s heart and love them for who they are today and that which they will grow into over a lifetime. We love unconditionally despite all the faults and shortcomings that live within our beloved.

That’s the love, that’s the marriage rites I cherish to be apart of…

I’ll happily help you tie the knot as a Wedding Officiant through gigsalad
