Rehearsal

Bard on the Butte…

Tonight we had great fun with our Stage Manager/co-director/stand-in Kristen McLeod, Oberon (Richard Leebrick,) Titania (Penta Swanson,) Puck (Jennifer Appleby,) Nick Bottom ~ aka the Ass or Donkey ~ aka director (Rob Newcomer,) and me, tonight as good Peter Quince (John Rakestraw.)

There we did meet at Skinners Butte; and there we did rehearse most obscenely and courageously. Some did par take of pains; some were perfect: the rest we did courageously fight off the little creatures that do bite. As always we did work at being perfect and bid all a good night and adieu…

…of course Wm. Shakespeare did say it all better. All’s Well That Ends Well. Adieu, adieu, a do be do be do! Alack, alack I go on to longth.
