Labor Day, September 5th 2016

Labor Day in the United States is a public holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the country. It is the Monday of the long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend and it is considered the unofficial end of summer.

Events - Labor Day

8 AM Pancake breakfast, then a quilt show, a chili cook off, live music, a kids zone, and lots of vendors to see. All this on Broadway Street in Veneta, Oregon.

I will be at the Applegate Regional Theatre, Inc. (ART, Inc.) Booth, where we will have a Selfie Booth for you to take fun pictures (with your own phone, tablet or regular camera) of yourself, family and friends with costumes and props from the theatre. I will be there as Father Yule (Santa Claus) for those of you who want Holiday festive pictures with the Jolly Old Elf himself. You might even bring your “well behaved” pet for a selfie.

Here’s the link to the page about this brilliant event put on by the fantastic people at Mid Lane Cares…
